 Governor Quinn delivering remarks on the gambling bill. CHICAGO, IL (Catholic Online) - Quinn remarked that he was concerned that the bill would not protect integrity, and was too large, and excessive. Most importantly, he was concerned that it would not provide adequate revenue for education. He explained that he did not want Illinois to become the Las Vegas of the Midwest.
Quinn's position guarantees that more discussions will be held before a final bill is proposed and accepted.
