 Archbishop Francis George. CHICAGO, IL (Catholic Online) - The Cardinal appears to have cancer in his kidneys and liver. However, he has fought back cancer before, beating bladder cancer six years ago.
The Archdiocese says the Cardinal is still attending many local events and that he believes strongly in the power of prayer. The Cardinal remains strong and capable, and intends to continue working as long as his doctors and health permit.
