For some, dinner is served again.
On Monday, American Airlines introduced a new program that will allow first class and business class passengers to order an in-flight meal before departure.

CHICAGO, IL (Catholic Online) - The meals will be available for those flying between Chicago and Los Angeles (LAX) and New York's La Guardia.

Passengers can book their meals between 30 days and 24 hours before flight via the American Airlines website. American says they plan to expand the service over the next year to all domestic flights.

In-flight meals were once standard for everyone, but have become a rarity since airlines have sought to reduce their costs in recent years. Now, the meals are returning on long flights as hungry passengers appear willing to pay premium prices for them.
