Some of the winds on the lake have been clocked at 60 mph and could whip up powerful, high waves. Several waves have already been measured by boys on the lake at around 19 feet. There is a lakeshore flood advisory in effect for the Chicago area and the advisory is expected to remain until Wednesday afternoon.
