In addition to Lincoln and Douglas, several other historical and fictional names were listed on it. It turns out this was not some elaborate form of voter fraud or a prank, but instead she had just been given a sample ballot by mistake. Sample ballots are orange, which hers was. Poll workers quickly fixed the problem. Still, it was amusing to see the mistake, particularly against many more dramatic reports of voting problems which are developing across the country. © 2012, Distributed by NEWS CONSORTIUM. - - - Pope Benedict XVI's Prayer Intentions for January 2013 General Intention: The Faith of Christians.
